Project entailed:
- Creating textured elements from scratch
- Integrating Google Adsense properly
- Sourcing stock images
- Redesigning website navigation and structure
Blitzkrieg is a series of three downloadable World War Two themed add-ons for a popular real-time strategy game.
The previous Blitzkrieg website failed to promote all three games effectively, with the new design we solved this by placing links to the three games at the top of the site styled as war-era photographs, which are permanently displayed at the top of the site.
A briefing document style was created from scratch to help fit the World War Two theme, along with mouseovers to make active links clear to the user. Google Adsense has also been carefully integrated into the new design, with the aim of helping the adverts blend in naturally, thus increasing the chance of a user clicking an advert.
